American Lock Collectors Association
BUYER BEWARE
FAKES FRAUDS FANTASIES and BEYOND BELIEF

We are trying to educate the collectors, from the novice to the experienced long time collectors, not just for the padlock collectors, but for all collectors, dealers, sellers, etc., in general. The majority of these locks have come about since the inception of Ebay. The other locks go back to the mid 1970’s.

Hand stamped locks can probably go back to the earliest made metal locks.
Click on any of the links below to see the different padlocks that have been created to cheat people out of their money or other compensations. This is in no way all the fake locks that are known to exist. This will be a continuous list being updated as new locks are found.

If anyone has any questions about any of the locks shown or other locks please send and email to the Webmaster.
